Application Development
Panscient works with customers to develop customized information extraction applications for specific topics. We have world-leading expertise and over 10 years experience in the application of information extraction technology to text mining from the web. We have developed a proprietary core platform that enables us to rapidly develop new applications. Panscient developed and operates HiringPool, one of the leading people search-engines containing information on over 23 million people from over 4 million companies.
Our services include crawling the web to identify content of interest, extracting structured data from unstructured text on web pages, building search indexes over structured data, and powering vertical search engine applications which access topic-specific search indexes.
Once developed, a custom search application by Panscient can be deployed in our high-scale production system which is capable of crawling, extracting and indexing more than 200 million websites per month. Extracted data can be shipped to the customer as a structured data feed or hosted on Panscient's internal search infrastructure.
Data Augmentation and Cleaning
Panscient crawls the web monthly extracting information on 25 million people and 10 million companies, including name, jobtitle, education, biography, company name, address, phone and email. If your organization is a large-scale corporate data provider or has a large corporate database, Panscient can use its database on people and companies along with our proprietary matching algorithms to clean and augment the records in your organization's existing database.
